How it all started
It all began with a conversation between Dr. Mariano Balaguer and software engineer Adrià Cidre. Mariano had spent years in hospital management, seeing how healthcare organizations generated mountains of data... that nobody then leveraged. Reports that were archived and forgotten. Important decisions that were made almost blindly because the information existed, but was buried in static formats. Adrià, for his part, had developed data analysis systems for startups and tech companies. He knew that extracting information from PDFs and converting it into useful dashboards was technically simple, but nobody was applying it to mid-sized biomedical organizations. The available solutions were expensive, slow, and invasive: they required modifying SAP, with all the risks that entails.
Our philosophy is clear: we don't sell technology for technology's sake. We solve real operational problems related to patient flow, bed occupancy, and discharge management. And we do it without touching SAP, without endless projects, and without trapping you with us.

Where our 3-Layer Governance System comes from
This methodology is not a marketing invention. It is the direct result of our combined experience.
Mariano knew the real operational problems: processes that only existed in people's heads, decisions made without updated data, critical information buried in PDFs. Adrià knew how to build systems that extracted, processed, and visualized that data in a non-invasive way. By combining both perspectives, we identified that three fundamental pieces were missing that nobody was connecting:

Layer 1 - Digitalization: Standardize knowledge
Mariano saw how critical knowledge lived only in the heads of senior professionals. When someone left, that knowledge disappeared. We needed to convert tacit processes into auditable institutional assets (SOPs in BPMN + traceability).
Layer 2 - Monitoring: Operational visibility without friction
Adrià knew that extracting data from SAP without touching it was technically viable, but nobody was applying it to mid-sized healthcare organizations. Dashboards needed to connect to digitalized processes to have real context, not just show isolated numbers.
Layer 3 - Response: Close the loop automatically
Detecting problems is useless if nobody acts. Mariano had seen too many dashboards that informed but didn't act. Intelligent alerts and automation close the loop: detect → act → maintain compliance.
The result is a complete operational governance system where every layer depends on the previous one. We don't sell isolated products, we build functional digital ecosystems.
